Welcome

At the heart of Camp Hill Education, our ethos is to ‘build brighter futures’.

Many of our pupils have come to us having had challenging experiences in mainstream schools. We as an independent school aim to provide the optimum environment for our students’ self confidence and academic potential to flourish, whilst encouraging a strong sense of purpose and belonging. We strive to meet the individual academic needs of our students, and to foster a welcoming school environment with a strong sense of community spirit.

We believe that every student has unique capabilities, and throughout our students’ time at our school, they will be taught key employability skills, which will pave the way to unlock their bright and successful futures. As an understanding and flexible school, we hope to accommodate every pupil according to their needs. We endeavour to teach a curriculum which will enrich our students’ knowledge of the wider world, and will allow them to become well rounded members of society.

Parents will also play a fundamental role within our school, in order to establish and maintain a tailored approach to the students’ learning, and to continue to collectively evaluate the students’ progress across the year. We believe that through this partnership, each pupil will achieve their potential and will make excellent progress. We hope that you will join us to help make your child’s education a positive and successful experience.

Thank you for showing interest in our unique school! You are most welcome to come and visit us. We would love to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

Irfan Ahmed,

Head teacher (Law LLB honours, PGCE, QTS)

Admission

Pupils may be referred for a place at Camp Hill Education.

Most referrals for a school place will be made by the Local Authority Exclusions Team via the permanent exclusion process or the Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Service (SENAR).

We are able to support pupils with learning difficulties whom require tailored support to overcome their learning needs. We offer small class sizes with one to one support where necessary.

Many students prefer a calm and quiet learning environment and are not successful in busy mainstream settings. Camp Hill Education offers pupils a calm and private environment where they can feel relaxed and happy to come into school. Parents of children with learning difficulties may also contact the school directly to discuss a potential school placement.
