At Camp Hill we record any first aid incidents and ensure we attempt to reduce the risk of similar injuries occurring again. Our school’s first aider is Mr Azharul Islam.
All pupils will have an opportunity to discuss health problems with the first aider. The school plans to bring in health support workers at different intervals throughout the year. We also aim to have regular visits from a School Nurse and Dentist. Please tell us as soon as possible if your child has a specific medical condition.
Parents are asked to return a completed health questionnaire. We plan to check the height and weight for all children and carry out health interviews where we feel is necessary.
Children with an identified health need may be seen more frequently.
How can Parents Help?
- Contact the school if you are worried about any aspect of your child’s health, or emotional well-being.
- Please fill in and return all questionnaires sent to you. This assists the school to meet your child’s needs.
- If you are offered a health interview, please keep the appointment or request an alternative.
- If you feel that a problem has not been solved, please let us know.
