We understand that our pupils may not have had a formal job before and may need some additional support to settle in to the workplace and reach their potential. At Camp Hill we aim to help provide effective support for pupils wanting to become apprentices.
We will highlight opportunities in within the apprenticeship routes as well as build awareness of apprenticeships as a viable training and employment path. The careers lead will find possible apprenticeships for pupils 16 and above, through training providers, local employment support agencies and projects targeted at young people.
Pupils will be taught how to prepare for formal interviews using competency-based activities, role plays, presentations, tasks to ensure that pupils with different learning styles can showcase their strengths.
